[On evaluation of psychotherapy in Alzheimer's disease].
After the recent issue of a randomised controlled trial on brief psychotherapy in Alzheimer's disease, we discuss the ANAES's recent report on non pharmacological intervention in this disease. We suggest that any evaluation must take into account the complex reality of the patient's and carer's needs, especially according to the progress of the disease. We give examples of proofs of another kind than those applied with cognitive therapy.
